So, the first blog post!! I have finally taken my own advice and got off my butt and started this blog. My main driving factor is that in two weeks I will be off to Europe for three months.
My first stint of the journey includes riding from Rome to Como to help raise money for kids cancer. Everyones support would be greatly appreciated and any donations can be made online at http://www.everydayhero.com.au/hannah_macdougall. I am aiming to raise $1000 for the Kids Cancer Project before and during the ride. Updates, exploits and other adventures will be regularly updated on this blog and the website in an attempt to say thank-you for your support as well as inject some laughter into your life at my impeding shenanigans.
My rough plan at this stage is 4 weeks in Italy, 4 weeks in France, 4 weeks in the UK. I am still searching for a base in Provence - if anyone has any tips or advice they would be greatly appreciated!
